All of our trainers/ staff have played at the Collegiate, University or Professional level. Each trainer brings their own level of expertise and coaching style. One thing all coaches have in common is our Philosophy. Train with purpose to be able to one day "Live Your Dreams."

Justin Alliman - Founder/Head Trainer

Justin Alliman is a former professional and collegiatebasketball player who now specializes in the development of athletes both male and female. His career started in the heart of Mississauga where he played high school basketball. Though going to a smaller school on the basketball radar through his dedication, hard work and "never give up" mentality scholarship proposals - both academic and athletic started to surface.


Justin went on to play college basketball in New York for a year where he was selected defensive player of his conference. The following next two seasons he was awarded an academic and athletic scholarship to play in Newfoundland at Memorial University where he became team captain in his final year and lead the conference in double doubles (points and rebounds) for guards.


After Justin's university career finished he got invited to participate in a pro exposure camp where he placed in the top 3 for his position out of over 100 prospects. Following the camp invite he also received professional contracts from Angola and Australia before being picked up by the Buffalo 716ers in 2013.


Currently Justin is the founder of Dream Chaserzzz Basketball Inc. Who has already worked with over 1500 athletes ranging from all ages both in Canada and the United states. He was also a player development coach for the Mississauga Power professional basketball team of the National basketball League of Canada where he has worked with over 40 different professional basketball players ranging from the National Basketball League (NBLC), NBA D-League, WNBA, NBA Summer League and NBA. Justin has worked as a Community relations specialist with the Raptors 905 of the NBA G-League for a season. He has also been the lead instructor for The Hoop Factory a Toronto based training company, instructor for the Toronto Chinese Youth Foundation and Beamax Youth Foundation, as well as a youth mentor with Ahead of The Game Mentor Ship Program. Currently Justin works with the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a Jr. NBA Head Coach in Asia where he as already worked with over 60,000 athletes.

Calvin Chevannes - Youth Trainer/ Media

Calvin Chevannes is a former Canadian College basketball player. Upon completion of high school, Calvin was offered numerous opportunities to play for different schools, with family close by Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario was his choice. 

At Loyalist Calvin was a standout captain on his team. His leadership qualities, phenomenal work ethic and never-give-up attitude helped him excel to the top of his game. 

While being on the court has always come naturally, coaching and development is where Calvin is in his element. Having spent the summer of 2014 as an instructor at Aspire for Higher, Calvin trained young prospects and kept them motivated by introducing new drills and techniques that produced results. 

Currently, Calvin is the Head Coach for the u15 S-Elite team out of Brampton, Ontario and runs private training sessions weekly. What sets Calvin apart from the rest is his drive, competitive nature and his ability to captivate his players by keeping them focused with new and innovative ways to up their game.

 

GAELEN SYDNEY - TRAINER

Gaelen Sydney is a kinesiology graduate who prior to university played high school basketball at St. Josephs school in Mississauga. It was during this time that Gaelen would accumulate numerous awards ranging from Male athlete of the year and an athletic letter of excellence, but it would be his Peel All-star selection which would assist him in receiving a scholarship to Graceland University in Iowa to play at the collegiate level.

Throughout the years, playing basketball has helped Gaelen acquire recognition all throughout Ontario on and off the court.  Gaelen has received many lifetime and athletic achievements such as the Brampton’s Citizens Award and while coaching OBA teams he has been an Ontario Basketball Champion and an Eastern Canadian Champion.

Helping youth and the general community is a passion that Gaelen has discovered while playing basketball. After having received the Principal’s award for bypassing the 40-hour volunteer requirements he contributed two hundred additional hours in community service.

Gaelen believes the youth have inspired him to aim for something he had never planned on. He has built relationships with younger age groups as a mentor. As well as being a trainer Gaelen is currently a physical education teacher while coaching fulltime
